Hi Jay ... sorry to read your wife has been given a diagnosis of breast cancer  ... but huge hugs to you for reaching out for advice.

I was diagnosed 8 wks ago and so far have had 2 of 6 chemo treatments .... withing 10 days of the first chemo my hair began to fall out and scalp became very sensitive so i too like Blue-girl suggested use a baby friendly shampoo at first but now i have only stubble left so use a good moisturiser for the bald areas. 

On new years eve i took control of what seemed the only thing i could control ... and shaved my head ... since then have a fast growing selection of scarfs/ hats

do you have anything you can recommend for my wife’s scalp? Her hair is coming out a lot and her scalp is very sensitive? Is there any type of moisturiser or oil which works better than general moisturiser?

Hi Jay / wife xx   I found  once I had shaved my head the sensitivity reduced and now all I do is moisturise twice a day with a good cream.  When in the bath I still wash my head with a gentle baby shampoo ... don't ask me why... habit i think 

Ok thank you. She’s not at the brave the shave stage just yet so I’ll ask her to try apply some moisturiser.
