Prostate cancer spread to bones

My husband was diagnosed yesterday 5/12/23 with prostate cancer and they think that it has spread to his bones ,is anybody in the same situation as ourselfs. we have also been told so many times not to have chemo am at my wits end we dont know how long he has or anything

    I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer and metastatic bone cancer in November 23. No previous history of ill health and regular low PSA numbers.  So a surprise to me.

    Started hormone injections-two so far.  Results excellent - back pain totally suppressed and now 5/6 hours at night before needing a pee.

    Have appointment with Medical Oncologist on 23/1/24
