Been told I have lung cancer despite a clear scan & x-ray

Hi my doctor told me through a physical examination that I had lung cancer I had x ray that showed nothing I had ct scan that showed nothing should I ask for biopsy to be done doctor told me to tell my family and my 16 year old son ,I told my family but not my son till I know what I'm dealing with why would he be so persistent I tell my family if he wasn't 100% sure I had cancer

    Sorry but I think your doctor is wrong in speaking to you like this I would get a second opinion & change your doctor how would he know until all the tests plus biopsy are done .Also what right has he to insist you tell your family about something that has yet to be diagnosed a physical examination and a Xray is not enough.
