I'm sorry you're going through this and my husband was diagnosed with lung cancer but that was after an x Ray, CT scan, biopsy and a full body scan, if it is is cancer then you should be seeing an oncologist who will give you the proper results after all these tests have been completed and a meeting has been held to discuss your treatment.  We told our family nothing until the cancer had been confirmed by the proper specialist and we also had a cancer nurse in with us.  I would personally wait until all this has been done because to talk about this with your family until you have the full facts seems wrong.  I hope you have some help in sorting this out.  Best wishes, Carol
