I'm in a slightly different situation, have a U4 solid nodule and waiting to see if I can have surgery. Taken from end of Dec to now and waiting on the outcome of mdt meeting. Had an inconclusive FNA and a core biopsy which said the lump was consistent with a benign lump but also malignancy can't be excluded. Have you had a long process so far?

Thank you. I will do. I think it might be because it's a follicular lump and some of the stuff I read said they can't truly tell until it's been taken out. I'll let you know how the appointment goes. Take care too. How long from them saying you could have surgery did you have to wait to actually get the operation date? 

I've been put on the list for surgery. They said 70% chance of benign. Up to a 3 month wait. Hope it's not that long though 

Thanks for the update. Are they planning total thyroidectomy or lobectomy for you?

Thank you. Pretty sure it's lobectomy. It was a telephone appointment and as soon as he said surgery I was like yes please. I think my core biopsy was equivalent of thy3f. I feel it's going to be a long 3 months. I find it strange I was on the 2 week referral but now it's come to the surgery they said I'm not a suspected cancer patient and so you have to wait the 90 days. Fingers crossed that's true though and I don't have it

 Now, let's forget cancer and try spending some quality time with friends and family.
