I was diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 breast cancer a month ago i have an insurance policy it pays out if diagnosed with a terminal illness ...is my diagnosis classed as terminal ?
I'd call the insurance company and get them to go through what the policy actually entails. As with most insurance policies, it's not what's in the headline that matters, but the fine detail.
Whilst some will pay out, some might class "terminal" as being close to end of life. Like, given 6 months or even less. You really need to go through the wording with them because yeah, insurance companies aren't always very clear with their policies.
