I'm Mary: a retired teacher, mother, grandmother and cancer warrior. Since my diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer nearly fourteen years ago I have been determined to try to halt the progress of my disease with lifestyle changes alongside my medical treatment. So many friends have asked me how I am doing this that I have made a web site of my own to explain. The website describes my strategy, and contains links to books that have helped me. And I don't have any proof that it works. And it doesn't matter what it is that's working even if it's just the placebo effect! But I'm not dead yet!
