Hope everyone is ok today. Hopefully I get to see the specialist tomorrow and I know more about my diagnosis. I will update when I have more information in the mean time take care all xx

I've seen the consultant today the cancer is not operable so it will be treated with chemotherapy and immunotherapy to contain the cancer. Not the news I wanted but I have a chance to contain the cancer and live as long as possible. Hope everyone is doing ok today

Hi we have recieved some shocking news that my sister has a mass in her lungs, she has not had a biopsy as of yet. 

Can lung cancer be diagnosed by an CT scan without Biopsy?

sorry to hear about your sister situation. I had a biopsy before Christmas and was sent for a ct scan the CT scan confirmed the biopsy results. I would ring my GP and talk it through with them or if you have a contact at the hospital give them a call. Please stay positive I know it's difficult. I am always here if you need to chat
