I have just been diagnosed with lung cancer and have no other information a this time. I am very afraid of what happens to me now. It would be great to hear from others regarding this
I had a ct scan just before Christmas it confirmed lung cancer but I have not seen a specialist so do not no what stage the cancer is at, very confused shocked etc at the moment. Thank you for replying, I assume you are also dealing with a similar diagnosis, if you are how are you coping?
All I had so far is a CT scan on upper body, that is when I was told I had cancer of the lung that was on 22 dec, I've not been told anything else or had any other tests so far. Sorry to hear about you husband, you must be a tower of strength for him. What a lovely person you must be to take time to respond to me, I am so grateful. Hi I have recently been diagnosed with a lung carcinoid which apparently needs to be removedI have had a PET SCAN and will be having lung function tests next week not too sure how soon and exactly what type of surgery I will have be good to know if anyone has had or is having a similar experience
I have also just been diagnosed with lung cancer (with other areas of concern) on 22/12 after CT scans on my chest pelvis and abdomen. I'm waiting for a PET scan appointment and Bronchoscopy appointment. After the initial shock I'm finding the waiting difficult and totally understand your anxiety.
Finding myself googling as much information as I can but it's all so confusing when I don't actually know for sure the type etc. They said possibly carcinoid. They did allocate me to a lung nurse who I can call with any questions. Did they do this for you?
Good luck with your next stage. At this time all I know is I have lung cancer I will be seeing the specialist tomorrow and hopefully I will be told more.

Google is maybe not a good idea. I have tried not to be tempted to Google information. I understand your need to know but all you will do is confuse yourself and cause more stress which you can do without at the moment.
