It's ok love. Am Amanda 47 my husband Matt has lymphoma been have chemotherapy since oct. He had it under armpit and in is chest it's gone in armpit but he has some left in chest  it's going dwn  so hopefully it will go

Hi, I've also been recently diagnosed with a carcinoid lung tumour.  I've had a bronchoscopy and going for a pet scan tomorrow. I've had lung/heart function tests and bloods done.  I've been told that if it hasn't spread I will have surgery to remove the tumour.  The wait to find out if it has spread is very difficult and I am very anxious.  I've avoided reading a lot of info as I find it increases my anxiety.  I have spoke with the lung nurses who have been very helpful and when I feel up to it, I plan to go to my local maggies centre for support but to be honest I'm still reeling from the diagnosis.  I hope you are ok.  Sending love. Oh I'm sorry to hear that.  The waiting is the worst part. I am supposed to be seeing my consultant on Thursday but it's likely that will be re-scheduled to as there was a delay in getting an appt for my pet scan and it's only happening tomorrow. 
im ok I think.  Still very frightened and anxious about it all but trying to get through it.

Hi I found out today that I shall be meeting with the surgeon in Monday next week to discuss the procedure most likely video assisted which is less invasive. The carcinoid is contained in my lung so all being well will be a curative outcome I hope you get the same kind of news from your scan I wish you well
