ive just been diagnosed this week and have MRI on Tuesday. In my head I'm such a mess.  I'm so scared.

Hi i was in the same situation ....i had all my scans done should have got my results and treatment plan on the 30th December i got a call the day before cancelling as being over christmas everything was delayed finally got them on the 6th so started hormone tablet treatment last Saturday.....i literally cried buckets after the cancellation call as mentally draining but people did say to me like i am saying to you it is the hardest time and you will get through it like me ....also i dreaded the thought of the MRI scan but it was far easier than i expected i just took deep breaths and it soon was over i have decided everything is mind over matter and i am just thinking positive with every step.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Must have been so hard expectations of things being sorted and then held off. 

How are you now, dealing and coping? 

I've had a mri before on my knee I'm just panicking that it's going to come back bad that it's spread. Xx

Sorry to meet you on here, This is the worst you will feel, although the MRI will be a worry it's good that things are moving along, have they said what BC you have? Once you have all the Information on the table and your consultant has a plan you will Feel much better, we tend to go to the dark and think up some awful things but you will be okay.  Not sure on your age but I'm 38 with a young family, when I went for my appointment on my own thinking it was nothing as the GP didn't seem worried I was absolutely floored when they told me I had BC but I did feel better when I went a week later and they had all the info and a plan.
 

Try and keep busy, get support from your family and friends. I hope your MRI results are positive ones, you are in the best hands

Hi, I'm so nervous it is 6.45pm tonight. This week just been planting the seed in my eldest head about things around us ready for us to tell him Friday evening, he suffers from aniexty

Hi I am ok ....just think in a few hours your next step will be completed and another step to a treatment plan I am on letrozole the hormone therapy tablet and agreeing with me got my follow up apt on Thursday at my local cancer hospital ...I have got my head around my diagnosis and dealing with it the best i can these blips in life are sent to test us and staying positive.

I had a lumpectomy July 2020 followed by 5 sessions of radiotherapy for lobular breast cancer

I am now taking hormone supressants for 5 years
