Thanks for the virtual roses Brian, I am imagining the pefume( not sure that MrsB would approve of you sending flowers to 'another woman!!!!') and being 21 again is not so bad!!! My naughty forum friend Sue let the cat out of the bag and I now have more virtual messages than birthday cards ha ha - how lovely.
Hi Jules that's how I would spend my birthday so I'm a little jealous as I can't get in the garden for a good amount go time today but there's always Thursday.
Mark will be going to the hospice later on and I will go over there once he's settled in and get his clothes hanged up and set everything up. Mum is going to come with me as she wants to see him. Take care ,Linda x
Hi all sorry I haven't been very active seems there's always something keeping me busy. My sister is doing well. I have some close friends who I met up with who said they were going away to Cyprus for a week in October and said they would love if I went with them so I'm going to go as it would be good to get away again especially with people my age where I have things in common unlike family when there is the grandkids and your kids. My friend Marianne has a villa over there and she's intending on celebrating her 74th birthday there as well so it will be good only flights to pay. Day in the garden as its so lovely. Hope the move into the hospice goes smoothly for Mark and it will be good to have your Mum visiting with you when you go in. Hopefully you do not have too far to travel and get to spend some quality time together.
If you manage time in the garden on Thursday you will be catching up with me as I will be at work! Have just got back from visiting my Mum, going to the gym and treating myself to a manicure so will now get lunch and take it outside. I do try and stay out of the sun at the hottest time of the day.
