Well you will have seen that the new baby made her appearance yesterday and she is now home with Mum and Dad (six days late in the end). I was early with my first and a week late with the second. As they say they come when they are ready and when Darcey was ready she did not take long. Labour about 9hrs and a comforting water birth (everything my son's fiancee had hoped for so no wonder she was smiling). Will enjoy showing my workmates my phone pics tomorrow when I go in.
Did manage an hours walking today but got drenched in the process and had to change into dry clothes to go to the gym,only to get soaked on the walk home again. Good to read that you were enjoying wine in the sun in your garden though - a continuation of your holiday lucky you. On the plus side I have managed to lose nearly two pounds in weight (all down to the extra exercise and more water to drink) so am now on track to be at my desirable weight for the hols in July (taget set by me as gym happy with my general health/BMI etc).

Hi Jules yes the baby did make an appearance and I'm sure she's a beauty. I was late with all 4 pregnancies I had to be induced for my first 3 and then suddenly went into labour with the 4th. Late pregnancies run in our family my daughters were all induced as well. Planning on going my walk soon so will be getting ready. I'll be honest I don't lose or gain weight I don't know if that's a good thing but it's never bothered me. I really have stayed the same weight since I was 65 and then nothing changed. Congrats on loosing 2 pounds I know it's only 2 pounds but it's something isn't it ? I make a lot of smoothies and I quite enjoy them. It's not something I thought I would like.
The weather here is lovely so makes it even better for walking. If it get warmer will just sit back in the garden again. Take care -Diane x
Thanks Diane, was absolutely delighted at losing 2lb (only need another 2lb to be back at my regular weight and not putting myself under any pressure). Just upping the walking rate and adding a couple of miles means I have still been enjoying my food.
Just returned from having dinner at my sons (was very surprised to get an invite this afternoon along with the other set of grandparents). Darcey slept throughout and all is going well. Had put a pic of the happy granny here.

Oh jules the baby looks gorgeous in this photo I couldn't help but notice Darcey has a little scratch on her cheek but beautiful baby. That's great you will soon be back to your original weight that will sure make you feel better. Another hot day here so will power wash the drive way since it's lovely. And maybe go to the market. I agree with Mandy your what I imagined and that's a good thing. I forgot to say I think you weight is perfect from what I can see. I have often thought about getting my hair cut like yours but I think I'd miss my longer hair. My hair only goes down to just below my shoulders. I was going to posts picture of me on holiday by the sea but you can hardly see me with the sun ha ha. Take care -Diane x
