Hl flower had it all in the last three weeks my appointment at the cancer clinic has been changed three times it is now this friday thank god ,had three letters one moved it forword  an hour the next brought it forward from the 13th to the 6th .What is going on whith our local NHS management the hospital staff are fantastic but admin is up the wall .so lookes like could be going to the van on the 14th.Hope all is well your end ,regards george (grumpy)

Grumpy with good reason George.  What mayhem the admin lot are putting you through. Now that the appointment is Friday I hope it goes well and you finally get some answers.  Will keep everything crossed that the van offers some wonderful relaxation from the 14th and that the weather holds too.

I am going to Bournemouth with friends on Friday for a long weekend and despite the nuisance of a cold will enjoy a change of scene and maybe an Irish Coffee or two will soothe the throat.

   Hi Flower ll went well today just waiting for a final scan it will show all clear no cancer but the man

   wants it done then he will discharge me back to my GP ,Almost to the day 10 years after my

  first operation  of three feels great .can`t book the van yet but getting closer.

Hi George, I am guessing like me and many others you are missing seeing Max56 online. Do we assume she is not just fed up with us ..but too poorly to message. She has been an amazing support, it is difficult not to see her online...I know in the past you have missed seeing her too.

Been away for a long weekend and just so pleased to read your post on my return. What a journey you have been on and you can now begin counting the days to getting off to the van.  Hope the weekend weather meant that you and your little rascal Ria made the most of walkies.  Still no holidays I have three aps 2nd june ,4th july.13th july .all at three hospitals ,but they are looking after me .But knocking me about a bit, good thing I have Anne,and Ria to keep me busy .

 A family meal at our sons sunday could be about 12 there and I am not driving so a drop of red might get down.Regards for now .lol george

Hello George, thought I'd just let you know that Jules is a bit busy today expecting her third grandchild, but I'm sure she will reply asap!

Sorry to hear that you've not been able to get away for a holiday yet, very frustrating when you're looking forward to it.  Our lives seem to be all about appointments sometimes, don't they?  Hope they all go okay, meanwhile no doubt you will still be taking Ria on those long walks - or she will be taking you!
