Hi all , not sure where to post this I'm hoping someone can advise me. My brother died recently of cancer in his neck which started as an ulcer, it was a very stressful and painful time. I registered his death then later found I had given the wrong date of birth. Everything else is correct. My concentration wasn't in focus. Money is short I can just about pay for the funeral. I read it's £90 to make a correction. Do I need to correct his dob. My husband says it isn't necessary to correct it , its mainly should someone in the future look up my brother for ancestry. I do hope you don't mind me posting this it's playing heavy on my mind.
