Feeling lonely

Hi Everyone

So It's Christmas Day And I'm So So Lonely And Afraid,

I'm Home Alone And It's So So Hard, I Suppose I Have To Much Time To Think And Nothing I'm

Thinking About Is Positive, Sorry To Sound Like  Grinch, it's just such a scary scary time for me,

I'm due my 4th Chemotherapy on the 2nd of January all Going Well With Bloods,

I wish I could be more positive And Happier In Myself,I'm Just Crying And Having Panic Attacks Constantly,

Please Say A Silent Prayer For Me,

Ange!

  • Hello Ange.

I'm so sorry to hear that today is such a difficult day for you. I want to say that it's natural to be scared and it's OK to have a cry if that's what you feel you need. And it's absolutely Ok to be channelling your inner Grinch!
You're probably right to a degree that maybe you've had too much time to sit and think about things. That will lead to an increase in your anxiety.
Is there something at home that you feel able to do this afternoon to try and take your mind off things. It could be something like watching a film or is there a book in the house you've not finished reading. It could be something as mundane as clearing our a cupboard or sorting through all those odd socks that you've been meaning to do.

If you'd like to talk to someone then don't forget that the Samaritans are available 24/7. You can call them on 116 123 or talk to someone online via their website.

You're in our thoughts today Ange. Although you may be feeling lonely please don't feel that you are alone. We are here for you.

    Best wishes,

  • Thank you so much for reply Jenn,

I'm getting through the day slowly but surely,

I've no choice really, I can't seem to concentrate on a book or television, my mind won't let me relax,

I pray tomorrow will be a better Day,

    Blessings,

    Ange!
