Some hospitals offer free parking for radiotherapy patients.  I had various different friends take me and they all got 3 months free parking at the hospital.  It is worth asking the hospital you need to go to what the policy is.

Our NHS hospital gives free parking to cancer patients while undergoing radiotherapy / Chemotherapy there is a desk at outpatients reception for this, however the biggest problem is finding a parking space. The same desk can help with public transport costs but Im guessing you already have a National Bus Pass. As treatment progresses you may not be able to sit for 4 hours on a bus and at the hospitals disgression they may award you help with fuel costs. You will need to provide evidence of your income and treatment. Hope this is of use.
