We had to cancel 2 holidays after my cancer diagnosis. Our insurance covered the cancellations fully because at the time of booking I did not have a cancer diagnosis. It also covered a holiday that was already booked for the following year after my cancer diagnosis, chemo and surgery. Hopefullyyou have holiday insurance and it will cover it.

Can I ask ….which insurance company was this with as my holiday is next week and I’ve just today been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer - holiday was booked at start of year 
so travel insurance has not been notified
