Had radiotherapy a year ago and in remission. I’m going to Africa in January. Do I need to declare if I’m in remission and on no treatment.?

Hello Debradancer
We have some information about travel insurance on our website including information for people who have previously had cancer treatment that you may want to read through.
It's important that your declare your medical history to the insurance company so that the policy is not void if a claim needs to be made.
If you use the forum search function at the top of this page to look for the term "travel insurance" you should be able to find some previous posts where members have recommended companies that they have used for insurance.
I hope that you have a lovely holiday.
Best wishes,

Hi Debradancer,
I would definately declare it to be on the same side. I had breast cancer 12 years ago and we tried to claim this year on our travel insurance but it was breast cancer related they would not pay out.
Hope this helps.
Enjoy your trip.x
I meant to say safe side :x
