I had my lumpectomy surgery in August this year and I still have not gone back to work. My breast surgeon has signed me off until 6th Dec and I feel a bit of a fraud. I am still waiting for my radiotherapy schedule as I have had my planning CT Scan

The pain has actually now gone although i do have a bit of fluid retention in my breast. 

My HR manager is coming to see me at home in the next couple of weeks as they are going to put me on SSP. I am really going to struggle on the reduced salary coming into the house, as I live on my own.

Would it be a good idea to ask my GP to shorten my sick leave?

Struggling with this as I dont know what to do for the best
