Stage 1review meeting

I am being phoned every month from work, to see if my circumstances have changed at the moment going through chemotherapy and radiotherapy after breast surgery.

  • Hi 919395 and welcome to the forum.

I'm glad you have felt comfortable enough to tell your employers about your diagnosis. Most employers understand how stressful this time can be and will do what they can to help but if you are feeling upset or pressured by these monthly phone calls, do make sure you talk things through with your manager or HR department. There are different ways your employer can support you during treatment, so telling them how the cancer or treatment is affecting you and/or your work can really help.

Hopefully some of our members will be along soon to offer their support and advice but in the meantime, we're thinking of you and wishing you all the best with your chemo and radiotherapy.

    Kind regards,
