Have just one more session to go. I've needed no peg or feeding tube, but this treatment is absolutely torture. The pain I am in is indescribable. Even with morphine I still have a lot of discomfort in my tongue and mouth and throat. The tongue, is lacerated at the front and stinging and ulcerated at the side of tongue. Very hard to move it and to speak right. I haven't eaten a meal for a few weeks. I've only lost one stone which I guess is not too much. I've cried with pain so much this is the absolute worst. I've lost my hair up the back of my neck on both sides half way. This is where the beam treats. My neck is so burned dry and sore it's agony. Have to wear a burn bangage. I've been told I'm doing fantastic and much better than most with this. For me it's just the very worst hell that I could ever have imagined.
