Hello friends. I was told on Tuesday that the cancer that had been sorted (it seemed) in my bladder had now spread. You will all understand the brick in the head feeling that gave me and my husband! It is now Friday morning and we'ree still in shock. Kepp bursting into tears massive feelng of all this being unreal. Went to see the oncology doctor who was actually very encouraging. Told us not to worry about time scales but to be as positive as possible.  Go to sleep thinking of it, waking up thinking of it. Due to start Chemo in next few weeks. I would value any encouragung words. So need to hear them. Thank you

  • Hello Stephen and welcome.  I havenot been in your situation but just wanted to send a few encouraging words.  I am 66 years old and during my lifetime have seen an enormous improvement in diagnosis and treatment of cancer.  Totally understand that this a great worry for you but talk to your oncologist - take a friend and a list of questions next time you see him/her so that you get all the information you need.  And please do keep coming to post here to let us know how you are doing and feeling.  Annie
