I am so sorry to hear about your dad - poor him it sounds awful and he has been going through so much. Wendys1 has given you excellent advice. As it's a weekend, if you feel your dad needs immediate medical assistance don't hesitate to ring 999 or if you feel it isn't so urgent you can call 111 and arrange to see an out of hours doctor.

Thank you for your help doctor is coming to see dad today and the Macmillan nurse tomorrow so I now feel things are getting put in place x

Make sure you push everyone for as much support as you can get asap so you can have some quality time with him. Talk to the Macmillan nurses about signs your dad is deteriorating so you are informed and can help him. Make sure you have a helpline for evenings and weekends. It doesn't sound like he has long so good luck xx

I'm very glad to hear that you and your dad will be getting the help you need. The Macmillan nurses are fantastic and will be there for you both however long your dad has and will keep him as comfortable as possible I'm sure
