first chemo four days ago

I have just had my first chemo four days ago after a lumpectomy to remove a grade 3 HER2+ tumour was wondering if anyone has any advise as to how to get through this dreadful time I feel terrible does it get any better or does it get worse if so I don't think I can cope feeling really low at the moment.

    Hi Gaynor, I had my first chemo for 3 years on Friday for recurrent ovarian cancer, and am also feeling rough, though not as bad as then because I am on a lower dosage this time.  I was very ill each time for three or four days post-chemo last time, so I really feel for you.  However, it does go away, so please be brave and persevere each time, even if you feel that you want to die, as I did!
