Brave face

hi my name is amy, don't really know what to Say , I was diagnosed in February 1-2 year ( secondary cervical) , I'm 34 and struggling to ask close family for support when I have a bad day .

Don't know how this works on here but thought I'd write something, my brave face is failing me now.

Any advice would be greatly received

  • Amy, it must be so hard, especially at your young age.  Do you have family close?  My own daughter is a about your age and I would be devastated if she didnt tell me when she was feeling bad.or just needed a shoulder to cry on.  If you cant talk to family or friends try support groups, or ask your local Macmillan nurses if there are any groups or counsellors local to you.  I know from experience how very helpful they are.

Of course, you can always come and talk to us.  We are always here. x
