Hi forum friends, well, today's news was not as good as expected. The surgeon had removed the two nodules in my right lung and unfortunately, both were cancerous (we had hoped the non growing one was benign!) This news has meant that the non-growing nodule in my left lung, can no longer be assumed to be benign, so next steps are a CT scan and depending on the results, another lung op in the offing! :( (Trying to be positive, but struggling :( - sorry guys!) xx
Hi Jo, I just read your post and I am so sorry to hear the latest on your lung issue. What a major disappointment that you have to yet again, undergo another lung surgery. I can commissurate having just gone through it myself, so my heart goes out to you. I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better, but there just isn't. I'm just now starting to feel human again and I am glad its' behind me. I know you will get through this, but that's not to say its' a walk in the park; it sure isn't. Sometimes life just isn't fair my friend. You are always such an inspiration and support to others on this forum; now, be as kind and nurturing to yourself. I think all of us have had our own little pity party and then we pick ourselves up and go on to do the things we need to do to soldier on. You will do what you have to do. Draw on the strength of all your friends here on this forum because this is what we do on here.
P.S. I look forward to your sign post for your step-daughter's wedding.
