Nursed my darling husband of 30 yrs at home palliative care till he passed 07/10, diagnosed bone cancer back and sacrum 12 weeks ago, lung primary plus adrenal gland and brain mets. Have some handy hints on how to manage turning when u r short like me, managing a man 6 foot 3 on u r own as his ability to assist deteriorated. Was administering subcuts towards end. Main thing he passed at home surrounded by love and pets. No where I would rather have been by than at his side supporting him, talking calmly and reassuring him.
