I was diagnosed with Cancer in March and although we knew it was Cancer its still a shock to be told it. I have had 2 chemo cycles now and have my 3rd at the end of the month. I would love to chat about the chemo side affects to anyone..
got my results yesterday, cancer has gone from my left lung, abdomen is clear and all that is left is the lymph nodes in the centre of my chest, Doc said the chemo has shrunk it enough for them to be happy, CA125 is good, I am free now until March, when I will have another ctscan to ensure all is still ok. I am still struggling with this cold and have a pain in my back which made me think the worst, but the Doc is happy and I can relax wooooooo hooooooo.

What a wonderful Christmas present for you but also for us all !!! You must be walking on air my flower.So glad you had this news before Christmas and did not have to wait until after.This is just the start of good news for us all.Thank you for sharing this and have a wonderful Christmas.
Just popped in to see how you all were. That is great news Dot what a christmas present that is, i finished chemo in November and due to go back in January to see consultant. Enjoying the very tiring break from chemo every three weeks as you can all appreciate. Ca125 levels down to 10 at last consultation. Will see what they are doing in the new year.

Sorry you have a cold,they are so draining .Have you retired yet?Lots of time to go for walks in the summer.

I am picking up slowly.Actually drove to the dentist myself yesterday,only a mile but it is surprising how you loose your confidence so quickly.Still trying to put on the 1 1/2 stone that I lost 2 months ago but finding it really difficult.57 years of dieting and now Im trying to put weight on,Sods Law !! My clothes are all too big,I was walking up the stairs t my dentists and stood on the hem of my skirt and the skirt came down over my bum,started laughing which started me coughing so need to visit the sales before Im arrested for flashing !!New chemo seems Ok,scan end of month to see if it has worked but definitely getting a bit of energy back.f only I could breath I would be A 1 but after reading Dots story I am very hopeful.

I should have had my last chemo on Wed but didn't have it as I had earache for 3 days and was lightheaded. Anyway I said I didn't want the last one and the Dr had said he wouldn't push me for it. So I am waiting for the appointment in clinic and I expect he will send me for a scan... Fingers crossed everything will be fine.
