Hi all sorry not been on for a while, just so tired being back at work full time. Im deeply saddened to hear the news about Rose, she always knew the right thing to say,I'm stuck for words, she was an inspiration to us all x
Hi All, Just logged on to catch up and was saddened to see the news about Rose, such a lovely and inspirational lady, it's just not fair!! My condolences and love to her family. xx
Hi everyone, I have been signing on and not leaving a message - news of Rose has been a huge blow for everyone. The one thing I do know - is that Rose would be nagging us all now to continue supporting each other, and continue being positve, share the niggles of life and all the good news we can possibly muster up between us. i have said it many times before, how without you lovely people here including our dear Rose - i don't know how I would have got through. So now, in honour and remembrance of a very special lady, we must get back to helping and talking to each other. There are no words i can say that you haven't thought yourselves, and we all need to greive over our second loss in such a short space of time, but we also need to be kicking a**e and living life - we owe it to others to live the best way we can.
I don't write this flippantly, but I hope i can make at least of one of you smile.....
my grandaughter who is now five, was nicknamed doodle bug - later shortened to doodles - after she seemed to wreck everything she touched - unintentionally.
I got really cross with my grandson who is two in the car when he kept climbing out of his belt, and i was very naughty and called him a little s*d. Yup in true kids fashion, he copied but couldnt quite get out the words saying diddle dod. I tried so hard not to laugh, but now his new nickname is diddle dod - and it detracts from what could otherwise be a very naughty thing to say!
Love to you all, and hugs - hope to see you all here very soon, carrying on the great support network in memory of our two dear friends.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sara,
Great post and it's so so true, it's exactly what Rose would be saying....I will always remember her saying we're allowed 10 minutes a day to be stressed, worried or upset but then we must find something good to think about or do.
Rose's memory will always live on - and you ladies on here will continue being a fantastic support to each other, that's exactly what our Rose would want to happen.
Hugs to you all xx

Hi everyone,
the sun is shining - and for all of us with hot flushes - not too hot ! I wanted to tell you ladies (and gents out there) that someone passed on some info to me recently regarding a new shampoo. It is supposedly formulated ALL NATURAL to help hair grow. I thought I'd try some as my hair after 8 months is just an inch and a half long. After 9 days of using it, i can see a difference - i can actaully 'style' my hair! it is only a small amount of growth, and whether it is the shampoo - or the fact that it is used daily so the scalp gets 7 good massages a week - i can't say. But I can say that it is also not overly expensive, months supply of shampoo and conditioner from 12 squids ! And my hair is growing faster!!!
the shampoo is called FAST - you will find it easily. I bought it because it's natural firstly, second gentle, and third it could work! Well as i said, i don't know if it is the massage or the shampoo but something is happening - i can brush my carpet like hair now and it doesn't just stand up like that on a loo brush!
I just wanted to ask too, if anyone else out there bruises easily after all the treatment, I find I do - especailly the hands - and oh gosh the dry feet ! I am so glad to be feeling more like myself but every now and then I get the niggles like looking at the grey and ginger in my hair- waiting for it to grow and so on.
I'd love to know how you are all getting on, so please everyone, come and say hi and give us an update. We have been through so much together, and i know we think about each other often - so lets get back to chatting and remember our friends together for the good things they gave us and not for the sad loss that we all feel. We were blessed to be touched by someone who kept us going even when things were not looking good for herself. Let's carry on that legacy - come say hi and let us all know how you are doing. I bet I am not the only one here who misses the chats, let's not leave anyone feeling lonely, Rose and Lou would be kicking our butts big time if we did.
Love sara

Hey Tony,
Sorry you're feeling rather crap, remember it well, so sending you some sunshine, some smiles and a huge hug, and lots of love too as you are always keeping our spirits up when we are down. Our love and best wishes are always with you, just wish i could make you feel better. xxxx
Ladies, I am sorry I can't help with your type of chemo, mine was FEC but I do know the type of chemo is related to type of cancer, your health and lots of other factors, but I found it helpful to look up the type of chemo on the net - reputable sites only - and just take the key elements as everyone reacts differently. Perhaps as more of us come back and chat after our sad news there will be someone who can answer your questions. And there will always be support here for you in one way or another.
I have had a real busy week - my daughter got told on Tuesday she would be moving on Friday, and so what with viewing, signing tenancies, getting keys, arranging a move - lugging stuff up and down stairs, watching two kids, I was damn glad saturday was over and was looking forward to a restful saturday night and sunday. Oh no .... not to be, my eldest daughter decided to come up from Kent, with no warning (not that I mind really) with her two little ones, and she arrived half hour after the other two grandchildren had gone home. Today, I had all four grandchildren, both my daughters, my neice, her son and my nephew, and a friend with her two little ones too. Oh boy people, this glass of wine is like nectar and i am making the most of it as tomorrow looks like a hetic one too! You should see the state of my house and garden - and I have to take little one to school in the morning as mum doesn't know how to get there from her new house.
Leonie, Nina how you both doing ? And not forgetting the rest of you lovely ladies, come say hi and give us the gossip - i can't be the only one - I'll run out of things to say!
Love to you all
