  • Hi Shents,

Thanks for that.  I thought being told 14 months ago that I had breast cancer would be bad enough but today has to have been THE worst day of my life so far.  Watching my granddaughter playing, oblivious to what is happening and seeing my son and my granddaughters mum fall to pieces. If I could turn back that damd clock!!!!  My son and I have spent the evening telling close family. On top of this I neglected to mention my dad was taken into hospital two weeks ago and at the time it looked like he wouldn't be coming home.  My head is spinning! I just felt I needed to talk to some friendly faces.

  • Patricia darling

You must be devasted, as must be your son and his wife

The only advice I can offer is... love her a little more each day.... make the most of every second with her..... and take hundreds of photo's and make amazing memories..... You never know what miracle is around the corner.

We are all here for you honey... when ever you need us

You and yours are in my heart and in my prayers.

    Love always

  • Sorry guys.... I forgot

It's not cancer come back..... apparently it's something called Narcrosis

I didn't really listen after they said it definitely isn't cancer

I have to go back in 3 weeks for a biopsy (if it hasn't dispersed naturally)

    Just to make sure

  • I am so so pleased for you - I haven't stopped thinking of you since you said you found another lump. I hope you continue to get better and better!!!!!!

  • Dear Caroline

I am so glad you got good results.I throught i would post that i had narcrosis five years ago and i am still here,it is much easyer than cancer.

  • Hey all - and welcome Chassis.

Caroline- I think the thing you were called in for is the same as the thing that I've got to have looked at this week. I had my first mammogram since treatment finished and I've been called in for them to have a more detailed scan. The mammogram showed what they described as 'grains of salt,' which could be as a result of surgery/radiotherapy - it's basically calcification of dead cells...at least that's what I'm hoping it is as they may take a core biopsy just to be sure. The roller coaster you describe is never ending ay!

Much love to all and especially Patricia
