How do people cope with prostate cancer, with HRT ?
Hi Nahtan,
I noticed you haven't had a reply to your post just yet, so whilst you're waiting for some of our prostate cancer members to share their HRT experiences with you I thought I would include some information we have on our website about hormone therapy for prostate cancer.
I hope you find this useful but if you have any further questions or concerns that you'd like to discuss with someone, you can give our cancer nurses a call on 0808 800 4040. They're available Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m and they will do all that they can to help.
Kind regards,

I’ve been on HRT for almost 2 years now,i get hot flushes every day some worse than others. You do get used to them and it keeps your cancer at bay.So it’s better to put up with a few flushesnow andagain
Ive been on HRT for 18 months and suffered from bad hot flushes.
Just moved hospital and mentioned this to the new nurse and have been prescribed Cyproterone Acetate. One 50mg tablet a day. Not had a flush for 4 days.
Thanks for the heads up
