Can’t cope

I'm not sure how to even start this as I just can't stop crying.    I was diagnosed with breast cancer on Tuesday although they'd told me a week earlier that he was 98% certain it was.
My brother was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer in December he's now on chemo injections and tablets.
My mum has had breast and bowel cancer in the last 8 years she's now in remission.
My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer 18 months ago she's had treatment and mastectomy and was doing really well, she's been poorly for a few weeks and was yesterday diagnosed with a brain tumour which they suspect is cancer.
Im litrally losing the will to live, I can't stop crying.
We all have neurofibromas type 1 which I've now read has a high risk of cancer. I'm a nervous wreck worrying about all my family members.
How can this word be so cruel to hit so many members of one family in such a short time. I really don't know what to do x

  • Linnymc,

What a rollercoaster you and your family are on. So much worry, but what an incredibly strong family to be keeping each other going right now. Wrapping my arms around you and sending you love and strength. You are not alone and you will get through this, we all will. Just be kind to yourself and give yourself some time. I'm new to all this, diagnosed Thursday, so currently going through all the emotions and trying to make sense of it all. Here to support always xxx

  • Hi nia

sorry to hear about your diagnosis we will all get through this won't we. I'm trying to stay positive for myself and everyone else. How did your family take it.

my breast cancer is estrogen positive just waiting for a date for my operation. I've chose not to have a reconstruction to old to care about what my boobs look like as long as it takes the cancer away. What treatment will you be having.
Stay strong and we can have a good old moan and vent on here x
