Well....here 2e go again...off to hospital in morning. 

Ultrasound wed mammogram...then see consultant. 

I was in a&e yesterday...pain in head and feeling sick...told high blood presure 171/101 all high...sent home with more meds...ramapril xx

4 nights....b4 I get my plan, I have copies of my questions for consultant to hand out at meeting ...xx I am attaching...good luck everyone...xxx   xxx...can't attack don't know how to  xxx

Hi everyone,  I am not sure....the doc admitted there was a delay in getting me to be seen in Dec 2020 and apologised said they are investigating 

He said I go in hospital on 1st Oct for another opp

Remove my breast tissue to chest wall and remove nipple

He will cut under breast and move fat into hole and try make a new nipple!

He also removing around 4 lymph node?

He said I will have radiotherapy and medication...but until The pathology look at it...he won't know whether he has clean margin

I have large breast and I am happy with them....After reading it sounds like they will look different xx

I don't know if to ask for mastectomy to be on sage side with implant...he didn't give me an option xx

I don't understand...he said I will loose my nipple and all breast tissue to chest wall and around 4 lymph nodes...gotta have it checked for clear margin

He said he will take fat from under the area where a wire is in a bra and luft up into the hole , it will look bad...can I ask for full removal and implant? I go in on Friday next week x 1st Oct xx

Your reply to Karen didn't appear until after I had asked how you got on.

I'm sorry to see that you are still up and stressing about this. I don't know what your surgeon's stance is on mastectomy. Most don't want to remove so much tissue if it isn't necessary. Full removal and implant is a more complex operation. I was initially told that the result would be the same wheher I had a lumpectomy or a mastectomy.

You should certainly discuss fulll removal and implant beforehand, so that you are happy that you are having the right surgery for you..
