Post prostatectomy incontienence

Hi guys,

had my robotic surgery 4 weeks ago. Catheter removed at 8 days.

Week 3 urine infection course of anti biotics. Now week 5 having problem when standing or walking with bladder contraction causing not drips but squirts. Changing level 3 pads every 2 - 3 hours. Pretty good at night normally only one change. Think the irritation of the pad may have caused another UTI as well due to burning when passing urine.

Have read on various websites that there are drugs to reduce the bladder contractions but each one seems to have side effects.

Be interested in hearing if anyone has used these drugs and what the effect of the side effects were?

    have to say i am not the most patient of people but guess i will have to learn to be.

    How did you cope with working?

    i was thinking about starting back after my 6 week check on a part time basis but think that with current situation might have to rethink.

    Doing all of the exercises so slowly slowly hopefully will see an improvement.
