I had a robotic radical prostatectomy just over 10 years ago.  Sorry to hear you're having UTI problems, but the antibiotics should clear this up. 

Four weeks is probably the worst time for many RP patients.  You're recovering well from the surgery, but you're now having to cope with the inevitable incontinence which seems never-ending.  You've also got the worry of the 6 week follow on, wondering if your PSA has dropped.

All I can say is chin-up; it will get better. 

You've had a major replumbing job, and no doubt you're still peeing out blood clots.  I didn't see any improvement in my incontinence until I'd stopped peeing clots, which was about 8 weeks after surgery.  I then needed pads for a further 4-6 months.  I was pad free by 8 months. During that time, I did regular Pelvic Floor Exercises and I'm sure they helped me regain control, so I suggest you might want to try them.

have to say i am not the most patient of people but guess i will have to learn to be.

How did you cope with working?

i was thinking about starting back after my 6 week check on a part time basis but think that with current situation might have to rethink.

Doing all of the exercises so slowly slowly hopefully will see an improvement.
