Newbie Worried about brain tumor

Hey all, I'm in the U.K. a mother of 3 beautiful girls ages, 7, 5 and 12 weeks, I'm 32 years old ;)

Can anybody shed any light..

I have painful eyes like they ache, headache on and off and the back of my head hurts more, Dizzyness. Slightly blurred vision and lightheaded? Are these symptoms?

on Monday I spoke with a doctor and said it's a migraine but Iv never had one so I can't compare. Tuesday I spoke with 111 as felt the same and they said to contact my own go in 24 hours. So yesterday I got another appointment with a different doctor in our surgery who said yes it could be a migraine or even stress related..

my question is with the 2 doctors would you trust them and take the word or would you still be worried? Not one as mentioned anything about scans ect?

I think Iv googled all my symptoms and they all come up brain tumor and now Iv scared myself

  • Hi Hough 39.

Never never Google it always gives you the worst case scenario.

When i first met my future wife she had migraines daily she was in agony and being sick couldn't bear to be touched or moved eyes running you name it she had it couldn't bear any light at all. Dr kept giving pain killer and migraine tablets maybe worked a few minutes. Over time we found out it was something she was allergic to, hers was actually cafene in coffee and chocolate, she can have small amounts now, but definitely no migraine for years, yours could be allergy related but it's just finding what causes it.

    Good luck with it.

  • Hi Hough39.

Welcome to the forum.   Do you recall having any strange visual disturbances about 15-30 minutes before the headache started.  Things such as zigzag patterns which don't go away when you close your eyes, or maybe strange distortions in parts of your field of vision?  These are "classic" migraine symptoms, and are a good indication that you're about to go through the misery of a migraine.  However, plenty of people have migrains WITHOUT these visual symptoms, so not having them doesn't mean you're not having a migraine.
