Hi , I had a examination at the hospital consultant said it was a prolapse? , this was a while back now and finally after months of waiting had a scan just to be sure yesterday !!!! , now waiting for results , I did ask at the time of anything abnormal was found but was told to wait for a letter from consultant  ? Hope all goes well for you !! X

Hi i went to docs today with lower back and pelvic pain. He didnt examine me internally, just pressed my stomach and did urine test ( trace white cells, nothing to worry about). I have to wait until 17th May for blood tests at my surgery and he has done a referral for a scan (he said he woukd do internal exam after all tge results came back ). Anyway, after googling symptons i found an article on vaginal self exam - did it and i have a hard lump on the vaginal wall. Should i contact my gp on Monday (currently Friday evening) or am i overreacting?? Any advise woukd be greatly appreciated. Thanks Bella

Hi, I've never been on a forum on here before and it's very difficult to read how worried everyone is, I really hope you all got checked up and are doing well. I found a lump too and that's how I ended up here but later discovered that what I was feeling was just my cerix. It moves thoughout your cycle and can sit as low as 3 inches feeling like a large firm lump to the touch. I'm posting this because sex education has often failed us and it sounds like what some of you might be experiencing is the same, I hope it is. Monitor it and go to the gp if you have the slightest doubt. Good luck ladies, sending you all love :)

Hi , Thank you got your message   my post was a while ago now but yes it turned out to be a prolapse and later after scans found a cyst on my ovaries but nothing to worry about . I do like to get as much information as possible when I don't understand situations and I did alot about the 2 week referral , my issue was that the doctor at the time said it's either a prolapse or it's cancer ? So as you can imagine I was shocked , she really should not of said that to me.
My husband was diagnosed with bowel / liver cancer in February he's just finished chemo and hopefully he can have a operation to cut it out !! Such a horrible disease . X
