Hi Ladies, I have been reading your posts and I must say, I am feeling exactly the same as you !!! But my lump is under my armpit in my Auxiliary lymph node. I have my breast clinic appointment tomorrow morning after a two week wait. Why do they make some ladies wait for Four months and then some for only two weeks ? That's not fair :-( . My lump doesn't seem to move and doesn't hurt when poked and prodded. I don't think that it's got much bigger or smaller, but like I said, it's only been 18 days from me finding the lump to me seeing specialist at breast clinic tomorrow
I had an immovable painless lump when I found mine I had a scheduled mammogram due within 2 weeks. Then recalled a week later for biopsy then a further two weeks for results.
The result came back as stage 1 grade 3 breast cancer,
I'm so sorry to hear that fifigibbo. It makes you wonder if the doctor or nurse that first saw us knew to get quick treatment. Where as some have to wait 4 months. Maybe having to wait 4 months could be a good sign then. Only waiting two weeks is scary because it makes you wonder why so quickly. ***, maybe that means I have cancer too :-(. I really hope not. My husband died from cancer 19 years ago when our son was only 4 years old. He is 24 years old now and doing really well. He has just finished 3 years at uni studying Archeology and landscape history and amazingly got a First !!! I'm so proud of him. How would I ever be able to tell him that I may have cancer now as well ? I just couldn't do that to him. God I hope I haven't for his sake x
I know they work quickly if is. So sorry about your husband ,but you must be very proud of your son
Fingers crossed it’s not cancer xxx
Hi again I was commenting last night saying I found it 4 months ago I wasn't waiting 4 months to be seen I found the lump inbetween my little girls communion day and my dad's funreal arrangements so I didn't go to the doctors right away as I had enough to worry about was hoping it would just go away...when I did eventually go to the doctors it was all pretty straight forward my gp send me to the breast specialist in the hospital and from him he send me to get ultrasound which is when I go the biopsy Wednesday morning straight after ultra sound.... I'm so sorry to hear your outcome x
My mistake, sorry.
ive mostly finished my treatment now except for surgery to loosen back scar and 10 years of targeted hormone therapy xx
I wish you the very best going forward x
I'm hoping the next 2 weeks come very fast to get my results but at the same time I don't want it to come
Thankyou, fingers crossed for you, keep us updated xx
Thank you ladies for letting me jump in on your discussion :-)). And I'm sorry for misunderstanding your 4 months wait Sandra. I thought that sounded abit unfair. Trust me to get it wrong LOL. Good luck to you all on your onward journey, and I hope and pray that it all works out for the best :-) X
Don't worry about it at all your fine I hope your well x
