im not going to say don’t worry because it can’t be helped.

i was diagnosed in March with breast cancer but beforehand I found a sizeable lump and people kept telling me it was a cyst but deep down I knew what it was and I was right.

the X-ray consultant when I had biopsy pretty much agreed that breast cancer..

The chances are if it’s a cyst it feels quite soft and moves a bit, mine didn’t mine was hard and immovable .

If it is cancer , youlll be thrown into a whirlwind of tests and appointments as they work quickly. Try to go with the flow, , I’m 7 months down line and finished all treatments this week except for 10 years of a hormone tablet .

i have some pretty impressive scars from surgery but am still here.

What size was it and what did it feel like?

did it feel smooth?

Yes it did 

Mine was about an inch but when I had ultrasound when I was recalled they found 2 tiny ones that I couldn’t feel.

Try not to think to much about the size to begin with wait and see what the dr says x

Sorry to ask more. I know a lump can be anything until it’s tested. But you said it was an inch. Could you feel the edges of it as well as it being smooth? 

Vaguely , it was almost oval but not easy to feel edges. Where about a is your lump on the inside or outside of breast ?

It’s on my right breast. About an inch to the right of my nipple and another inch below there.

its roughy 1” x almost 1”. I can feel it properly when I lie down flat and it’s almost right under the skin then. It feels smooth, yet solid. I can feel the rounded edges of it but not too sure if its attached to the breast tissue on the underside. I can move it, but I think the breast tissue is also moving with it. 

Ok, I can’t say one way or other but need to get sorted. 

I wasn’t really sure if mine moved or not but was told it didn’t .

when do you next see someone about it ?

I should have my appointment at the breast clinic next week. Just waiting on the date 

I feel for you I really do, I won’t say don’t worry because you will but try and keep busy .
