Hello - Grade 3 Breast Cancer

Hi, i'm new to this forum. Grade 3 breast tumour, had 3 off FEC and 2 off Taxotere, however the chemo gas stopped working and the tumour is rapidly growing. Mastectomy and sentinel node biopsy scheduled for Thursday, 26.03.15. Getting nervous but okay

  • Easy for me to say, but please stay strong.. I was lucky with only a grade 2. Here if you need to chat x

  • Hi there.i was diagnosed late Dec with grade 2 tumour in my breast with another area same breast with precancer cells.I was advised to have full mastectomy with setinal node biopsy. This was carried out on 2 nd Feb. I was thankfully told the nodes were clear.I can honestly say ive had no pain and no problems since the surgery.i have had a prothesis fitted.I go on Friday to see the oncologist to see if I need chemo or radiotherapy.Fingers crossed I wont need more treatment.I will be having reconstruction later in the year. All the best with your op, the thought is worse than the deed! X
  • Hello Grade 3 breast cancer, I have Lobular Cancer, I would like to wish you all the best and share my saying PMA all the way. My surfer is April 1st, followed by 3 weeks radiotherepy every day, stay brave my lovely x
  • Its only natural your nervous before your op and Ive been there too. Diagnosed with grade 2 last year and had bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction done in October.  They used tissue from my tummy to rebuild ( DIEP reconstruction ). You WILL get through this, just stay strong and keep positive.  My breast care nurse said attitude is 70% of the battle, so keep fighting young lady.

Will be thinking of you on the 26th and sending up prayers for your recovery.

  • Hi, I'm so sorry to hear it has stopped working, by now you will have had your op and I hope all went well. I also have a grade 3 lump but mine disappeared after my second Fec, I haven't been great on the chemo and I'm due to have Docetaxel 9/4 and I'm very anxious about it. Any way hope your doing ok.
