Help: 5 weeks post op for invasive breast cancer, been using Letrozole for 2 weeks and feel really unwell

Hi I’m 5wks post op for invasive breast cancer no radiotherapy due to stage 1 margins clear and health problems won’t allow radiation. I have been using Letrazole for 2 weeks and feel worst I’ve ever felt in my life. Feel sick, not focusing mentally at all, exhausted, headache comes and goes I can’t explain how bad I feel. Any help here would be welcome ty

    Hi Alfiesme.  I have been on tamoxifen then letrazole.  I think that your side effects should subside in time.  Hopefully all will settle down.  Also it could be stress which can cause physical symptoms.  It is strange we take the medication to get better and end up feeling worse.  If it keeps the cancer away it is worth it.  I hope your symptoms calm down soon.
