Oh thats good then.I don't have a husband so I go in to the ward solo lol.My daughters both work so it's difficult for them to accompany me but I don't mind.I do try to keep as positive as I can tho h.That helps too
Yes mental health is very important. My sister in law says little treatis and keeping active are good .her brother i.aw is an oncologist and says this.iwas the only one there with someone else .May not take him always .needs to walk the dog ! Xx will keep u posted.
Hi there, Yes not too bad luckily. Felt quite tired though. My friend wanted to go shopping and I was pretty wiped after! Sore legs as well. Also bit of a sore tummy again .So far so good . Next one in 3 weeks. Have a sore throat as well! I find it hard to explain this to friends sometimes as I think they want you to be "normal"asasp! My sister in law had Cancer,so she understands more..herr husband s friend is an Oncologist in Poole hospital. She had cancer twice but is well now.hope you're OK. All I have done is talk about me! Love to you xx
I'm glad you are doing ok.I can relate to the friends bit too.I have found that sucking on pineapple cubes helps the throat & I do get a dry mouth.I have my treatment next week.Rest up as much as you can.You will need it.You talk away about yourself.This is what this is for.Big hugs on their way to you xx
Hi again ! Will remember the pineapple cubed.quite a sore tongue and croaky voice. Yes I guess it's difficult for Friends . Blandford is a really small town all charity shops! Hi.Yes im still having treatment.Immunotherapy.Side effects aren't great.I had 6 Chemotherapy treatments but didn't get the all clear.It only spread to my lymph nodes in my stomach but its all going in the right direction. & they are shrinking.I have 10 more to go.Its a time thing.Keeping positive has helped get me through.Im in Dover.Its full of barber shops & cafes lol.Take care & rest up xxx
Hi , sorry to hear that .As you say everything moving in the right direction at least. As my Sons girlfriend said ,tick them off one by one. I had my hysterectomy,and when I came round the Doctor ld me he thought they got it all out. Yet under inspection it was still there. Fingers crossed for us both. We had caravan holiday home in Dover as a child .Happy memories .!of Dover Castle and Canterbury Cathedral ! Take care and have a for me !xxx
