It's perfectly normal to feel apprehensive before your first treatment as you won't know what to expect.I was scared on my first treatment but the nurses are so lovely & you will be well looked after.They explained everything to me & don't be afraid to ask them questions.It was a very relaxing atmosphere.Very quiet which I liked.Hope this helps.
HI there, Thank you.yes .I am feeling nervous. Saw my oncologist yesterday. She was very kind . My husband is allowed in with me. Hopefully my treatment will go well.i will let you know how I get on thank you again x
HI there, had chemo and cold cap .so far so good . Managed the cap .very uncomfortable at first. Then felt normal .lots of tea and cakes ! Kind nurses.took everything I had early this not to turn back home . Thak you for your support. Will keep u posted
Well I ended up there for about 6 hours. Had opted for cold cap treatment. Which added on a quite a bit of time. My husband was allowed to stay with me .(A new thing I think) I also like colour g! Maybe idea for next session. Lots of tea and cakes so not all bad !
Hi.6 hours is good.I was there for 8.Glad your husband is allowed to stay with you.I wrote all the side affects in a notebook which was helpful too.Just something to fall back on.Its a journey for s e.Rest up as much as you can though.Take care
