Hello Tracy, 

I just wanted to welcome you to our forum. I am so sorry to hear that your sister in law has been told that she only has 2-3 months left to live. I just wanted you to know that we are thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. I hope that your sister in law can spend quality time with her loved ones in her own home at the moment. It's hard to know what to say in a situation like this - I guess all you can do really is be there for her even if it has to be from a distance at the moment.  I am sure she will appreciate a little phone call as well as her mum for whom it must be so difficult at the moment.

Hi, 

One thing I really struggled with and still do now was how my dad (58) must have felt when he was told there was nothing more they could do. I just can't process or even begin to imagine their thoughts. 
There are no words, try and fulfill her wishes to be at home, keep on top of her pain relief so she is as comfortable as possible and just be there for her. Don't be afraid to show your emotions, I never wanted to get upset in front of dad, but once I had we both cried and hugged together. Just be there.
