About sunshine1987

In June 2018 my dad (58) went to the doctors with indigestion and was sent away with tablets. By September they weren’t working and he was told he had oesophagus cancer after a routine scan. It was all going to be ok though, intense radio and chemo in December and a major op in Feb 2019 to remove it. A routine scan end of Jan showed that somehow it had spread to his lungs, liver, stomach. That day our hearts broke and in March 2019 he went to sleep. I gave birth to his first grandchild 2 weeks later, he knew it was a boy, he was the only one. My sister had her first baby that year and I went ahead with my wedding without him. We move forward one day at a time x
