The beauty of life.

Hi, dying of cancer, woe is me, sad sad sad is me, been at a pain problem for a couple of weeks, which I mean by is I needed more meds to stop me from curling up on the bedroom floor and wishing for things that were inevitable.

The thing is I have traitors to watch, my car to sort out( it failed the  MOT wishbone bushes and brake discs) so my palliative care nurse made an appointment to the doctor. So I have Tongue cancer and the first thing the doc says is to open wide and I forgot that was a bad Idea, because then the lovely doc had to get lots of tissues. Needless to say I'm on 75 fentanyl patch and 500MG pregabalin and tonight just a little bit of hot chocolate(wink wink). Take care.

  • Hello furlongs

Ive read many of your posts and glad to see you are still around posting here. I hope that those high doses of analgesics are keeping pain at bay. Adding that type of hot chocolate can be dangerous so go easy on it. Pain is the biggest misery cancer brings to us all and the biggest challenge is to be pain free while still being in control. The palliative care nurses seem to have a good feel for what a patient needs. If only our cancer woes could be sorted out as easily as new brake discs and steering bushes. Hope you have good day.
