I hope you are all well and enjoying the festivities so far.
On behalf of everyone here at Cancer Chat I just wanted to wish each and every single one of you a very Merry Christmas and let you know that the moderation team will be here throughout the weekend and bank holidays. Our lovely nurses are having a well deserved break over the next few days so if you have a question for them just be aware that they will not be able to answer your posts until they return on Wednesday 29th December. Their phone lines will be open from Wednesday as well between the hours of 9a.m - 5p.m. If any medical emergenices arise, you can find out what out of hours services are available on the NHS website.
We know Christmas can be a joyous but also challenging time for the community so the forum will be operating as usual if you want to stop by to wish each other good tidings or if you need a safe place to empty your thoughts whilst you're waiting for results or going through treatment, be that you or a loved one you are supporting at this time.
Despite everything that is going on in the world, we really do hope you are all able to take some time to relax over the holidays, even if it's just for 5 minutes, and give yourself some much deserved TLC. You all go through so much and you deserve nothing but the best.
