I lost my wife to cancer recently and I have never felt so alone. I am experiencing all kinds of extreme emotions from grief to guilt. I really want to connect and talk to others who have been through this terrible period.
i lost my mother to cancer of unknown primary 27/11/18 I was only 18 years old. I felt so alone once this had happened as it happened so quickly and tragically. I found many ways of coping with my loss but talking about my grief to others who cooks relate to me really helped as they could understand my rollercoaster of emotions!
So nice to meet you Gabriella! I read your post and cried - no one should lose a mother so young. I am so sorry.
Yes it does help me to talk here and I don't feel I have to hold anything back. The loneliness and emptiness is an awful thing to cope with. I lost my 'rock' and it's crushing.
Do you still have the rollercoaster? Are you coping better?
I am finding ways of coping but I fear that all I am doing is putting walls and barriers up to the emotions and I feel like my emotions are numbing. They are just as raw as ever when a wall cracks.
I think the more I cry the better as I am sure it needs to come out and there is alot to come out.
Ok mate - very bad morning for me - crying so much now I am getting headaches. Better now - couldn't survive whole day like that. Just come back from a walk.
Hi just been reading last few messages, hope you both ok.
Keep taking one day at a time its like hurdles, not easy by no means and glad you two talk daily and exchange feelings its a great way of getting through each day.
I'm ok mate I think we both have had the hardest week imaginable But we have nearly made it And to be honest I don't know how I did it just got Friday to go! Kids keep me going and they also strangling me at the same time if I never had kids would I go to her probably not she would tell me it's not my time ? My heart is empty I can't even feel her anymore ?
Went for a drive today to a place we walked - felt an urge to go and found some white feathers in the spot I was drawn to. Coincidence?
On the way back I suddenly heard a voice in my head say, 'stop!' and so I did and pulled over. I got out and walked around looking for more feathers but I got a phone call a minute later from a travel company (to do with India). The only call I received today. Coincidence?

We will get through this there has to be light at the end of the tunnel Myself and my eldest boy were just on YouTube listening to a Matt Fraser medium and everything you were saying about the other side seems amazing and it's kind of giving me a little bit of confidence x
Go and have a little look mate you only need to do about five minutes and then all the questions we had are there it's about the third one down he sat in his office with a globe and looks like a big boat behind him
I watched a few of the videos of the medium - it would be great to see him and get a reading! I was seriously thinking about seeing a medium but can't do it now.
I keep looking back with 'hindsight' and replaying everything as the perfect human being. I am reliving every moment - it's like I'm really back there acting it all out again.
