Oh Mattocks, I am so sorry for your loss, especially when you had so short a time together.  Nothing I say just now will make you feel much better but please know that my thoughts are with you.  You made him happy.

I am sorry you have had your happiness snatched away from you so cruelly.  I hope you have family and friends who are being there for you and trying to help.  I can only suggest that you take one day at a time; don't look any further forward or it will be too much to bear.  Once the funeral is over on Monday this may be slightly easier but it will be still be hard.  There are many people posting on this forum who know the despair following the death of their loved one and who will understand what you are going through.  Only time will start to ease the pain a little so please be kind to yourself and let those who care for you help you through the hard time you are experiencing.

my husband died 11th January and we cremated him 23red January 

we got married on the 16th august after 23 years together

he was only 43

leaves a massive hole

and two boys aged 10 and 9
